Analyst This is our entry level position best suited to fresh graduates with less than two (2) years of work experience.
  • They are responsible for project deliverables and are involved in the direct follow up with the leaders of client companies.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
  • They are responsible for the research and analysis of data.
  • Initiate and build relationships with customers through phone, marketing mailer campaigns, in-person contacts, and presentations.
Associate After 1-3 years, our analysts become associates where they are involved with more high level assignments; and they work directly with the client business leadership.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create marketing initiatives for promoting company’s products.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings and calls between customers and senior management for business expansions and new opportunities.
  • Assist BiD in creating business plan, business model, project budget and scope of work

Manager Although we encourage internal promotions, we also welcome experienced professionals who have consulting or typical managerials backgrounds.

  • They provide the technical and strategic insights to the CEO.

  • They are responsible to bring new business deals to the company.
  • They are responsible to ensure the operations and execution of the strategies are done smoothly through the Managers and Leads.
  • They play a key role in institutional and government relations management.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) The founding CEO, as the visionary, works with the directors to bring onboard the right innovation and services. His main responsibility is to ensure harmony within the different business units.

BiD Internship Program

This is a flagship program we are very proud of seeing its first results this year. The program is designed to be a global immersive experience for both Malian and international business aspiring candidates. This is a great opportunity for you to deep dive into a selected local business’s model of operations and be part of their transformation journey. Role Description
  • Perform data collection and analysis for BiD
  • Perform market analysis and research on participating companies’ competition
  • Take part in the training and networking events with client companies hosted by BiD.
  • Support internal team’s effort towards business development and operations
  • Propose supports ranging from implementing strategies to market research to help companies draft transformational business plans.
Profile of candidates
  • Educational background relevant to business management, marketing and communications, engineering, IT etc.
  • Less than 1 year of work experience.
  • Graduated within the last 2 years or graduating this year.
  • Excellent writing and speaking of the french and english languages.
  • Good in making presentations from research and data gathering.
  • Comfortable working in remote areas such as onsite in the mine.

  • Due to the nature of close collaboration with the assigned companies, our interns can either be hosted by the companies or by BiD.
Recruitment Process Each internship cohort will be unique. We ought to have a diversified cohort of interns with different backgrounds. By doing so, we can ensure that our client companies receive the best support and the interns get the best experience possible. Each year we seek to host six (6) interns in the program. We aim to receive our most competitive candidates from our partner schools and from mouth to ear recommendations through reputation.
  • Target Schools
We have built partnerships with a target of universities starting from here in Mali. Once a year, during our recruitment season, we receive a proposed list of candidates from the schools that have already been vetted.
  • Open Application & Recommendation
Whether you read about us or you get to know us through a friend, we will be happy to receive your application because we know that we need the best candidates to make the best out of this experience. All applications are received through our website (portal) for the first screening. Pre-selected candidates will be interviewed in person or over video call. The full selection process should take about 8-10 weeks to complete. Upon successful completion, you will receive a letter of acceptance by email. Duration The internship program is for a minimum period of 6 months and a maximum period of 12 months. At the end of the internship program, interns can either be hired directly by one of the participating companies or by BiD depending on a match.
