Mahamadou DIAKITE
Founder & Executive Director
Business Development expert with more than 10 years  experience both in the private sector and international development organizations.
He has a track record of structuring and supporting SMEs strategic growth. He is a seasoned business trainer with great capacity  in leading business transformation processes. He makes great use of new technologies and tools to improve business performance.
He is currently the Founder and Executive Director Baobab Intelligence & Development, a company that provides support to local SMEs to grow their business. For the past 4 years he served as a Business Development Lead Consultant and Advisor to many CEOs including SHOPREATE Libre Service; positioning the company as the leading retail store in Mali. He also worked for international organizations such as AECOM, FHI360, Varkey Foundation on donors (USAID, DFID) funded programs to support the scaling of local NGOs activities. He has studied at the University of Pretoria. He holds a Bachelor degree in Information and Technology Management System and a Bachelor Honours in Management of Technology. He is an Alumni of Barack Obama´s flagship and very selective program of Young African Leaders Initiatives (YALI) from 2014; and he has been contributing to training young entrepreneurs ever since.

Business Development Lead

Abdallahi Ould Mohamed
Business Development Lead Abdallahi has joined BiD, since its inception, as a seasoned business development consultant with over 6 years of experience. In the past 12 years, he lived in lived in South Africa, Kenya Ghana and Mali.
Currently he’s working with myAgro a social enterprise helping small scale farmers to access farming inputs. Since 2017, Abdallahi leads myAgro’s efforts to build sustainable relations with the government to align on its mission on food security. In addition, he is the focal point for fundraising and partnership opportunities for Mali.
In Ghana, Abdallahi worked with Stanford Institute for Innovation in developing Economies (SEED). With SEED, Abdallahi was assigned to Dannex Pharmaceutical LTD to contribute to their strategic transformation plan for growth. He was a member of the merger and integration teams after the firm successfully completed two acquisitions in Ghana.
He’s is a MasterCard Foundation scholar; he studied at United States International University – Africa in Kenya where he graduated with a degree in International Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Finance & Administration Lead

Abdrahamane KONATE
Finance & Admin Lead A seasoned finance expert with a track record in supporting SMEs growth. Abou has more than 20 years experience in accounting and finance.
He has big expertise in cost accounting and great skill in setting up financial management systems, drafting financial reports and financial projections. Abdrahamane holds a master’s degree in management specializing in Quantitative Analysis and Economic Policy (AQPE) and studied at IUED Geneva with a certificate of development in entrepreneurship and promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises. He worked on the USAID “Mali Finance for Food Security and Women Entrepreneurs (FFSWE) as a mentor supporting SMEs drafting business plans with financial projection. He also supported SMEs access to finance by drafting loan applications and doing intermediation with banks /IMF. He has done the same work in other similar livestock projects (AFD/World Bank/EU).

IT Manager

Fousseyni SANGARE
IT Manager An Information System expert with over 10 years of experience developping Web based and Android Appliccation. He joined BiD, since its inception, as an information system consultant.
He holds a Bachelor degree in EXACT SCIENCE and a Master degree in IT MANAGEMENT, Mali. He has great knowlege on Web based and Android mobile appplications and has lead the development big projects such as Wed based management systems, online stores, websites. Fousseyni is passionate about computer programming with great skills in languages such as HTML, PHP, MySql, CSS, Javascript, JQuery and so on.

Administration & Procurement Assistant

Geneviève M. DIALLO
Admin & Procurment Assistant A junior professional with great management and business planning skills. She has experience working as a COMMERCIAL AND BUSINESS MANAGER at BMD (Business Management and development).
She holds a Bachelor degree in HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT and a Master degree in INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND DIPLOMACY from the Wisconsin International University College, Ghana. She joins BiD as Administrative and Procurement Assistant. Genevieve is passionate about agriculture and continues to develop agricultural entrepreneurship.

Access To Finance

BiD supports local companies to set governance bodies that can guaranty transparency and improve the internal management. We support our client companies to become better managed and gain trust of business stakeholders including the financial institutions. Improving company’s performance requires access to finance to implement the additional contracts. We help our client companies to be investment ready. BiD also support financial institution to conduct the due diligence of local companies in the mining sector.
